As a physics student at the University of Texas at Dallas, you’ll learn from and work alongside our world-renowned experts in cosmology, sun and climate studies and space sciences, particle and high-energy physics, nanotechnology, materials science and other areas. In addition to overseeing projects at cutting-edge research laboratories on campus, our faculty members also have ongoing projects with NASA and conduct research at physics facilities worldwide, including the Large Hadron Collider.

The Department of Physics provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses and degree plans, as well as research opportunities in several fields.
