Progress continues on the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center, which is slated for completion in 2017.

Chuck Davidson MS’80 and Nancy Gundy Davidson BS’80 recently visited campus to see the progress at the construction site. They were joined by fellow alumni and supporters Ann Graves BA’83 and her son Mike Redeker MBA’97, MA’01, President Richard Benson and his wife, Leslie, and members of UT Dallas Alumni Relations, construction and design teams.

Members of the group signed a ceremonial beam that was added to the center.

The Davidsons made a $15 million gift to support the construction of the center, which will create a place to foster connections between past, present and future UT Dallas alumni.

The 30,000-square-foot building includes a hall, a 450-seat ballroom, a conference center and office space.

Naming opportunities are still available to donors who want to show their support.

The University community can watch a live camera feed of the alumni center's progress.
