Dr. Lloyd “Jeff” Dumas, professor of economics and political economy in UTD’s School of Social Sciences, will give his views on President Bush’s speech on Iraq, made earlier today to the United Nations, on Texas Cable News (TXCN).
An interview with Dumas will be taped this afternoon (Thursday, Sept. 12) and broadcast several times this evening and, possibly, on Friday morning.
TXCN is broadcast on cable systems throughout Texas. The news channel is owned by the A.H. Belo Company, which also owns the Dallas Morning News and other media outlets in Texas and other states.
