Dr. Larry Terry
It is with great sadness that we recognize the passing of Dr. Larry D. Terry, Vice President for Business Affairs, on Saturday, June 17. His death occurred in Atlanta, where he had traveled for a meeting related to university business.
Dr. Terry, who also was a Professor of Public Administration in the School of Social Sciences, was a renowned scholar in the fields of public affairs and political science. He was an acclaimed author, international authority in public administration and a member of the National Academy of Public Administration. In recent years, he served as editor of the prestigious scholarly journal Public Administration Review.
During his five-year tenure at UTD, he earned the respect and admiration of his many colleagues, faculty and staff, as well as numerous students. Dr. Terry was an exceptionally skilled scholar and administrator, a gentleman, a loving father to four children and a friend to so many.
Words cannot begin to describe our collective sense of sorrow, and our hearts go out to his family at this time of great loss and grief. Dr. Terry’s talents, counsel, and perhaps most of all, his uplifting personality will be sorely missed by the entire UTD community.

Funeral Services
Funeral Services for Dr. Larry Terry will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23 at the Full Gospel Family Outreach Ministries in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The church is located at 1609 N. Evanston Place.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 22 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at the Dyer Memorial Chapel at 1610 East Apache, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
