The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) will present “Swing Thing,” a free musical swing dance event, in the Galaxy Room of the Student Union on Saturday, March 23. Free lessons will begin at 7 p.m., followed at 8 p.m. by a concert with the UTD Chamber Singers, guest directed by Mary Medrick, and the UTD Jazz Ensemble, directed by Kelly Durbin.
After the live concert, a disk jockey will give the audience a chance try out new swing moves.
