The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), in cooperation with the New Conservatory of Dallas, will present “Next Generation,” a concert of solo works by 36 pre-college music students in the conservatory’s string ensemble programs, Sunday, April 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Jonsson Performance Hall on the UTD campus.

The concert, part of UTD’s Young Artist Series, will feature the music of 26 composers including Bach, Vivaldi, Sarasate, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Kreisler, Faure Telemannn, Wieniawski, Kabalevsky, and Boccherini. Arkady Fomin is artistic director of the conservatory. Tickets for Next Generation are free to anyone with a UTD photo identification card and $10 for the general public. They are available for purchase Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at UTD’s Visual Arts Building or by phone with a credit card.
