Gabriel Guillèn, Venezuelan guitarist and professor at the Joseph Haydn Konservatorium in Eisenstadt, Austria, will give a recital at The University of Texas at Dallas’ Jonsson Performance Hall on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m. as part of UTD’s new guitar series, supported in part by the Eugene McDermott Foundation.

Guillèn, who has taught master classes and played concerts in more than 25 countries, will perform pieces by Scarlatti, Aguado, Lauro, Duarte, Albeniz and others. Admission to the recital is free and open to the public.
