Three UT Dallas alumni were among the top young business achievers named to the annual “40 Under 40” list compiled by the Dallas Business Journal.
Two graduates of the Naveen Jindal School of Management, Brian Livingston MS’02 and Chad Schieber MBA’01, were chosen from among more than 300 nominees this year for the honor.
An alumnus of the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences, Dan Healy, BA’00, also was named to the list.
The “40 Under 40” awards recognize professionals with a “proven track record in both business and community involvement.”
Livingston, 38, is chief financial officer of the Firebird Restaurant Group, parent company of El Fenix and Meso Maya restaurants. In the community, he serves on the executive committee for PurpleStride DFW 2013, a fundraiser in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Schieber, 39, is director of client services at The Beck Group, an international full-service builder based in Dallas. He has completed Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design — LEED — accreditation and a Master’s of Corporate Real Estate designation.
Healy, 36, is chief executive officer of Civitas Capital Management LLC. Prior to forming Civitas, he served in senior executive roles at Royalton Real Estate Capital LLC and Highland Capital Management LP.
The Dallas Business Journal will honor the three alumni and the other 40 Under 40 winners at an Aug. 28 event and they will be featured in the Aug. 30 issue of the Journal.
