The first undergraduate registration in 1975 brought an American higher education tradition to campus — long registration lines.
A look at the very first undergraduate student registration in 1975. UT Dallas archivist Al Mitchell detailed the event.
Students met with staff from the registrar’s office to register via computer in December 1983.
How could they possibly stand in line for that long without a cell phone? The struggle was real during this 1980s registration day in the McDermott Library.
