The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) promotes and encourages collaborative engagement with higher education institutions from around the world, using  student exchange program agreements, research/ academic agreements, and dual degree program agreements.  These international partnerships expand  not only the international academic destinations for the UT Dallas community, but also foster a comprehensive sharing of intellect, culture, and values between UT Dallas community members and their international counterparts.

International partnerships are designed to support UT Dallas vision and goals.  The International Partnership Development (IPD) Department facilitates the design, implementation, and evaluation of international partnerships that forward UT Dallas research and academic goals.

The objectives of the IPD include:

  1. To provide guidance in the formulation of sustainable international partnerships.
  2. To facilitate the institutional review of current and new international partnerships.
  3. To identify opportunities for the strategic internationalization of UT Dallas.
