Core Projects

TIA QuEST Forum

Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) QuEST Forum brings together communities of interest to shape solutions that enable next-generation ICT products and services. In 2000, the Institute for Data Analytics (IDA) at UT Dallas designed, developed, and launched the QuEST Forum’s TL 9000 QMS system. Today, we provide all services for the continued system development and enhancements of the TIA QuEST Forum computer system.

TL 9000

We collect monthly data submissions from all TL 9000 certified registrations, manage the database, calculate the average performance of the submitted data in the appropriate product and service categories, and make the benchmark data available to QuEST Forum members and TL 9000 certified organizations.

TIA SCS 9001

In 2021, TIA developed the Supply Chain Security (SCS) 9001 standard, built on the ISO 9001 which is used by millions of organizations around the globe. On 02/12/2022, IDA launched the improved TIA QuEST Forum portal with SCS 9001 registration functionalities after eight months of design, development, testing, integration, and implementation. All certified SCS 9001 companies must submit auditable data quarterly via TIA QuEST Forum portal managed by IDA.

E-Plan

The nationwide E-Plan program for hazmat responders is the most comprehensive hazardous materials program in the US. It is designed to make critical, life-saving hazmat information immediately available online to first responders. In hazmat or terrorism disasters, every second should count. With E-Plan, every second does.
