Emergency Aid is available to students through the federal CARES Act and the UT Dallas Student Emergency Financial Assistance Program. UT Dallas has established a website with more detailed information about each of these funds, as well as other resources for students in need of assistance.

The Student Success Center will virtually provide course support in the areas of science, math, writing, and speaking for undergraduate students for the remainder of Spring 2020. The University offers resources to help ease the transition to online classes.

The Office of Financial Aid is offering financial aid counseling via email or a scheduled telephone conference. If you would like to schedule a telephone call with a financial aid representative, please submit an online Meeting Request Form with your time preference and contact information. The office will confirm the time with you via email.
The University Career Center physical office is closed, and all in-person events have been canceled for the remainder of the spring semester. Virtual appointments can be booked through Handshake and online resources including seminars and career events are still available including The University of Texas System Virtual Career Fair on April 7. To prepare for online interviews, University Career Services has teamed with the InterviewStream platform , which offers mock questions, interview pointers and online seminars. The UT Dallas Police Department remains at full capacity. For nonemergencies, call 972-883-2222. The campus police will perform building entry assists for those who are authorized. For emergencies, call 911. Dining Services hours have been modified. Please check the website and social media for updates. The Comet Cupboard is doing weekly on-campus distributions of food and personal care items. Please monitor social media or email [email protected] to learn more about scheduled distributions. The University Bookstore and Tech Store are open. Parking and transportation services have been modified. Monitor their website and social media for updates. Comet Cabs will not be operating. For accessible cart service, students can submit a request, which must be approved at least one week before the service is required. Staff and faculty can email [email protected] to arrange service. Comet Cruisers will run on their normal schedules. University Housing is open to residents only, and card access is required to enter certain facilities. Desk operations will continue with limited hours. All housing tours are canceled, and new appointments are not being accepted.
